I first met Kate when I entered the world of Pilates a few years ago. As a newbie and someone who is no longer considered a spring chicken, I was somewhat fearful, did not know what to expect. My cardiologist suggested I try Pilates and so I took the plunge. What a welcome experience! I met Kate and my life changed from that point on. Pilates, aside from being beneficial physically, has much to do with the level at which you practice, the goals you set and your ability to achieve them. It is difficult to make this journey alone, particularly when you are starting out. Kate, from the beginning, has guided and supported me and made the practice of Pilates interesting and fun. She has sort of a “built-in” awareness and sensitivity about her so that physical issues, if there are any, are dealt with easily and comfortably. Kate will never push you beyond your limitations but she will provide you with the necessary challenges you need so that you can get the most out of your workout. She listens, understands, offers ideas and evolves with you. No matter the situation, Kate will provide you with the appropriate structure and information which will lead to your success. So glad I found Pilates and ever so thankful to have found Kate!
