To help reduce lower back pain, my physical therapist recommended Pilates to strengthen my core. Then my surgeon advised I get as strong as possible pre shoulder surgery. Both advise I work with a trained instructor so as not to further aggravate injuries. I count my blessings to have found Kate Medley. Kate took the time to understand my injuries and limitations, then researched and planned routines to achieve improved fitness despite my limitations. Post surgery, Kate again assessed my condition and planned a workout to help me rehabilitate my shoulder, while continuing to strengthen my core. My surgeon was impressed with my physical therapy with Kate. My husband has noticed I am less prone to aches and pains and he has noticed how much I have toned up. Even my kids have remarked that I look a lot healthier. Kate continually assesses my condition and revises the workouts to meet my needs. I have four kids, work full time, and Kate works with my challenging schedule to help me meet my health and fitness goals. I previously thought I could not do Pilates because of injuries.
